Seimitsu LS-32 Irregular Square main guide ("squircle" gate)

An optional restrictor gate for the LS-32 family of joysticks, manufactured by Seimitsu. Co.

This product is affixed to allow more efficient cornering directional operation as opposed to a straight square restrictor, without sacrificing the ease of cardinal inputs. Therefore, the squared circle (aka. "squircle") shape of the actuator/shaft allows familiar overall movement.

There are subtle indentations within the perimeter of the gate to permit easier cardinal directions (ie. Up, Down, Left, Right), making this advantageous particularly for charge character users in fighting games. This restrictor has a dedicated following and is often considered to be a formidable middle ground between default square restrictors and the circular restrictor favoured by Tekken players.

The actual dimensions of the irregular square shape of this product were modelled similarly to the NOBI STD model irregular square gate.  Following overwhelming positive feedback on the NOBI STD performance, the same directional response can now be experienced in the most iconic of the Seimitsu joysticks, the LS-32.
