Sanwa JLFD-A Lever shaft holder (w/carabiner)

An official lever shaft holder for the JLFD-TP-8YT (detachable shaft joystick variant), manufactured by Sanwa.

This accessory allows owners of the detachable shaft variant of the JLF to affix the shaft and balltop to a separate location. This is useful during transport to avoid damage to the arcade stick/cabinet and for stowage during travel.

One end of the holder is a secure screw-in metal receptacle for the detachable shaft (JL-SDF sold separately) and the other end features a metal carabiner used as the method of attaching to a location/position if required.

Alternate uses for this accessory within the fighting game and arcade culture community, is display of a favourite arcade balltop on a backpack or keyring for example.

As such, the user could choose to populate this strap with parts purchased deliberately for full-time display or, utilise leftover parts from customisation projects.

It is for this reason that this accessory from Sanwa also represents a celebration of the fighting game communities and general arcade culture, in addition to the primary function related to the JLFD-TP-8YT.
