Sanwa Denshi JLX2D-TP-8YT Detachable shaft joystick

Sanwa Denshi's new flagship joystick, the JLX2, is a further evolution beyond the prior iteration of the JLX. Sanwa Denshi introduced key design features to improve stability, smoothness and prevent rebound inputs. 

For the JLX2, the following improvements have been made:

• Use of the JLF P-5 black actuator (15.8mm) versus the JLF P-W white actuator (16.2mm) to regain the JLF response and feel some players say was missing from the JLX.
• Redesign of the metal washer and housing from a round to a cross shape to prevent rotational movement which will reduce input rebound and assist diagonal shaft traversal.

This JLX2 variant is exactly the same as the regular JLX2 except for the notable, detachable shaft mechanism. The screw type detachment mechanism is devoid of any rattling during use and feels the same as a standard JLX2.

For detaching operation: The user hand tightens/loosens the visible shaft on/off, requiring no tools and no opening of the fightstick/arcade cabinet. 

Sanwa has seperately made available a carabiner affixed lever shaft holder (JLFD-A) for the removed shaft and balltop so users can stow away those parts for storage/travel and display:
